Day 26

I'm still working with the flash on the older Canon EOS 60D, however I don't think that the metering is quite right, but the manual that came with the flash verges on useless. I will have to spend a little more time playing with it and if I'm lucky there …

We are catching up. I haven't queued anything for a while, and this just happened yesterday. That very cold snap this winter seems to have messed with the timing.

The original picture is a little over exposed, but overall I think that it is pretty good. I may change it out if I have time to work on the RAW photo, I think I can bring back some of the highlights.

I really love having these very early flowers in the grass immediately when the snow is gone.

Today is the first day of summer and this is a picture of a flower that came out of the grass in early spring.

The rhododendrons in the yard are starting to open. When we were in Vaughn last weekend I saw a lot of rhododendrons that haven't quite gotten even this far yet.
