These peonies were so bright that I had to dial down the saturation to make them look "real".

We have white peonies at home, but there are pink peonies around the neighbourhood.

We took our first trip to the wildlife park in 2023 this morning. I'm glad we left as early as we did because by 11am it was already starting to get hot.

Wandering around the yard with my camera this weekend I came across these flies having a very good time.

There are a lot of flies after all the rain we've had lately. I think they take a moment between the hard showers to make more flies.

It has rained for the last couple weeks and everything is very wet. So I haven't been out as much as I would like, but there is still lots of pretty flowers around the very local neighbourhood.

I'm crossing my fingers that when they do ripen that we get out there to get them before a massive shower, or the birds.
