We got a nice amount of rain over the long weekend, something that the garden really needed. It was a light enough rain that the birds were out enjoying it too.

I've heard of farmer ants before, but this year has been a special one. Typically I put out ant traps in early spring, but this year I forgot, and it has likely contributed to the bumper crop of aphids.
Blueberries are coming, but at the same time they keep disappearing. I blame birds.
