We took a short wander around frog pond yesterday. There was geese, deer, squirrels and ducklings!

I took the kids to Frog Pond for snack and it was awesome. We saw a deer run by the path and I pulled out the camera. We didn't see any more deer, but we did see a couple geese land.

Not the ideal conditions for this lens, but it was a great day to make a snack and to Point Pleasant park.

There are a few that I liked, and most of them are at 400mm.

It's definitely not the sharpest lens, and the autofocus motors had a hard time …

Some pictures of some pretty birds from the backyard.

There was a bluejay in the background and they were a pain to get a picture of. These are the only ones that kind of turned out.

We headed over to Eastern Passage to try and beat the heat, it didn’t work, it was hot there too, but the breeze and beach was nice .

I’ve found AllTrails hit or miss lately, but this little trail was exactly what we were looking for - Tanner Trail on …

Another favourite wandering location, except for the surprisingly huge number of shitty dog owners that can't control their animals, Point Pleasant is awesome.

This weekend we got out for another wander around Frog Lake (or is it pond). Our friend the wood duck was there, along with a murder of crows.

This is a favourite wandering place except for late Jan till late Feb when it is typically just too icy for young kids.
