No ducks at the park
We took our first trip to the wildlife park in 2023 this morning. I'm glad we left as early as we did because by 11am it was already starting to get hot.
Spooky
The park was spooky, or at least felt off while we were wandering around, and then it hit me, there are no ducks, geese or any other water fowl.
None.
The last time that we were there, and every time before that, there was always a lot of ducks in the various ponds around the park, this time I didn't see a single one.
I forgot batteries
I packed up my camera first thing this morning, before coffee, and forgot to take the "good" battery and only had a single off brand LP-E6. I was able to get about 100 shots before it died. So I ordered a pack of three Neewer LP-E6nh clones while the kids had a snack. It was the cheaper than a single Canon branded one, so I'm hoping that the three will approximately equal the number of shots.
